Every professor and teaching assistants have set office hours where you can go in and see them to ask questions. Some classes don't have TAs, but in the larger classes there will certainly be TAs to answer any questions you might have. Mostly only the intro classes for freshmen are the large classes. Becoming involved in a club or intramurals (as well as knowing where your classes are/how to get to them) makes the campus seem much smaller. It has good facilities and it is probably one of the better schools in the country (although not nearly the best).
