  • It seems like everyone these days has an opinion on The Interview cancelation so I guess Ill give mine. First off, it's complete idiotic that they used an actual person. I love Seth Rogen/James Franco movies but how dumb can you be to use an actual real person? Heck, they could've made up a name. Look at all of these movies and TV shows who hint at this stuff but don't really expose. In Red Dawn, America gets attacked by Russia during the Cold War but no names are given. In South Park, they practically say Tom Cruise is gay without even saying it. Then at the end, *Spoiler Alert* they practically celebrate killing Kim Jong un. Literately his demise is his helicopter getting hit by a tank middle in slow motion, with his face quickly burning and exploding in slow motion, all while fireworks is played in the background. Now with all that said, Dont show North Korea the movie. Heck, you don't need to show it in movie just show it on VOD. They spend $44 million dollars on this movie so at least release it on VOD. There are still some people who want to see this movie. So basically, it was a dumb movie by Seth Rogen and James Franco for using a real life character and killing him in a comedic way. Also, the celebrities really need to shut up. It is restriction of the 1st amendment in ways, but if U.S or someone else made a movie about killing Obama, would you think that would really work out well with us? With that said, I believe Americans have the right to see this movie if they choose to whether in theaters or on VOD. That's all I have to say. I'm interested in hearing what you all have to say about it. on 19 Dec 2014 5:28 AM

  • TQ: Who is your favorite blade wielder in video games? This character doesn’t have to wield a sword in a natural sense like a JRPG character or Link but also in unique ways like Sora from Kingdom Hearts, a fighter from Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Fire Emblem, etc. Writing Update: I finally figured out the name I wanted to give to a very important swordswoman in my medieval fantasy story. I’ve been writing down several names and trying to see which fit her. She’s one of the big main characters and I deeply care about every detail I create about her. I was watching television when suddenly someone said, “Rebekah”. My eyes opened wide and my heart quickened. I thought about the swordswoman in my story then I said it out loud, “Rebekah… YES. THIS WORKS.” You guys prolly don’t care but this means a lot to me. This is huge. It also feels sooo freaking good to write. So many emotions run through my body when I write my story. I feel adrenaline, nervousness, excitement, the desire to illustrate my imagination, and the desire to impress the reader. I’ve heard a few people say my writing is weird, enchanting, and hooks you in. It humbles me greatly and actually pushes even more pressure on my shoulders to create a captivating story with interesting characters with symbolism and themes. I WELCOME THE CHALLENGE. This is what drives me. Oh gawd. It drives me so much. Video games are fun and all but reading and writing are just so much more satisfying for me. on 18 Dec 2014 12:02 AM
