The lights are on
Great game. Along the lines of how much it has changed though, I agree completely with GI. The things that made this great game unique are either gone or changed; but it's not all bad. The sight of a giant base that you defend and send tons of units from is awesome, equally awesome is the sight of giant masses of units (and experimentals) absolutely annihilate each other. Good game, good graphics, good gameplay, but pretty lame story. So as a huge fan of the SupCom series, I can honestly say this is a great game and look forward to endless hours playing against commanders everywhere.
I played the game. I played it again. And again. And again And ag- You get it. But then I stopped. The levels got boring. The lines got old. You would know every iteration of a level. Valve said that it would never be the same. Well it only seems that way. All in all, it was fun. Graphics were good. Music, scary. AI, well, Horde=stupid=fun to kill, and special zombies=hard=REDICULOUS fun to kill. weapons, SICK!!!! All in all, good game, Valve did it again. Will they please add an actual STORY!!???
This game is GOD LIKE!!!! There is one thing though... multiplayer. No dedicated servers? Only 9 vs. 9 gameplay? But, there are the ups. More streaks (even death streaks lol) more unlockables, bigger maps, better sound. In the campaign, I felt like it was actually a bit to easy. Where is the "you will not survive" part of veteran difficulty? I also felt the campaign was very short. I did like how Infinity Ward fit in all the story that made this game great into such a short campaign. Other than that, the graphics were fantastic, and the voicework was well done.
