  • One day at college, I went to a vending machine and bought some snacks. After I bought some snacks, I walked to the library to talk to you guys for a while before I had to do stuff. As I was walking to the library, this guy wearing a red hoddie ran up to me and he’s like, “Hey, hey! Hey, man. Can I talk to you for a second? It won’t be long. I promise….” I thought about it for a while and agreed to listen. The guy in the red hoddie led me to another guy who was sitting on the ground. Mr. Red Hoddie said, “This is my brother. We’re both crazy hungry. Like we haven’t ate in a long freaking time… I was hoping that if you could spare ANYTHING…” I took one look at Mr. Red Hoddie and I saw the desperation and hunger written all over his and his brother’s face. I quickly dug in my pocket and gave them like a dollar and some change. I also gave them one of the snacks I bought from the vending machine. “Sorry, its not much -” I began to say but Mr. Red Hoddie interrupted me by shaking my hands. He kept shaking my hands and thanking me. I told him not to worry about it. I glanced at his brother who sat on the ground and I could tell he was struggling to say something. I smiled and told them it was chill and maybe some ways to get free food. I started to walk away and Mr. Red Hoddie asked me what my name was. I told him my name, waved, and went to the library. I felt a really warm sensation in my chest when I was in the library. I logged on to GIO and started speaking to you guys. Lol… The End. on 24 Nov 2014 9:39 AM

  • Yeah, I'm leaving until this is over. That article wasn't neutral. Look at what it was encouraging, for people to not be part of Gamergate, an outcome that would clearly benefit Anti-Gamergate. It also pushed the fake narrative of Gamergate being a hatemob. Anyone who says this has clearly not actually bothered to look into Gamergate. If lone trolls represent an entire movement, then anti-Gamergate is evil incarnate.  This is the violence moral panic all over again, exact same tactics. So this is goodbye for now, I've learned how to tell when I'm not welcome anymore. At least until this issue is over, which probably won't be anytime soon. on 20 Oct 2014 5:24 PM
