My name's Marcus and I'm a big gamer. I love playing them, talking about them,watching them, just about anything that has to do with games. I've been playing them since I was 2, according to my parents, but my first game I can remember playing is Star Fox 64. Because of that I became a huge Nintendo fan. My dad got me and brother a Playstation and since then we got the PS2 and PS3. I just recently got Xbox Live so I've been using that. I check my Game Informer profile often so if you want to ask me something or simply talk, I can answer you relatively soon except between school. 

Outside gaming, I'm a 15 year old black guy who's currently in tenth grade. I'm not your average black guy(I get called an Oreo, but I don't mind it) , I'm not really into sports. I suck at Football and Basketball. I'm only good at Tennis. I'm pretty decent at school. I'm not an honors student but I do get Honor Roll just about every report card. I (obviously) love gaming and my favorite genre is mainly action rpgs. I also like to draw even though I suck at it. I used to make my own comics called "Devil Duck" (You can ask me about it if you really want to know) I really like anime and I usually watch it through Netflix so I'm not up to date.

I'll use this page to talk about a lot of what I have on my mind. I plan on writing a lot of blogs but school will get in the way of that so bare with me on that. I'm open to any friend request you want to send me on Xbox or 3DS.

Current games I'm playing: (Last updated: Sunday, May 27) 

Xbox 360: Because of SOL testing at my school, I couldn't get too much gaming done this week. Didn't get too much done on Xbox, Finished Act 2 in Saints Row, but that's the only accomplishment really notable here. 

• Saints Row The Third: 100% 4/4 areas, in the middle of Act 3 
• Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary: *sigh* STILL on mission 7 
• Dues Ex: Human Revolution: In China
• Dead Island: Chapter 2 
• Soul Calibur V
• Fable III: In Bowerstone city
• Hard Corps:Uprising
• Torchlight: Going deeper in the dungeon, three more main bosses until the end of the game
• Modern Warfare 3: Mission 9 in campaign, I think 75% in multiplayer

Wii:  Got farther in Xenoblade and got off of Prison Island. No progress in Muramasa or Zelda yet though.

• Muramasa: The Demon Blade: Act 5 of Kiuske's story
• LoZ: A Link to The Past: Still in the Ice temple, Collected some Pieces of Heart and other gear. 
• LoZ: Majora's Mask: Still in the first dungeon
• Monster Hunter Tri 
• Xenoblade: 37 hours in.

3DS: More progress in Rolling Western, Star Fox, and Pokemon this week, but that's it. 

• LoZ: Link's Awakening: mid 4th dungeon
• Pushmo: Puzzle 82 
• Mario Kart 7: Trying to reach 10,000 VR! Currently, it's over 9000!!!!!! (Dragon Ball Z fans will get this reference) 
• Rolling Western: Fourth village, first day, 10 stars. 
• Kid Icarus: Finished the story, 80.4% of the game complete. 
• Star Fox 64 3D: 10 medals in 3DS mode, 11 in N64 mode. Still have a ways to go to get them all
• Ketzal Corridors 
• Pokemon Black: In Castelia city; 2 badges; Pokemon levels 17-23

My review score: The idea is borrowed from GI and PonstoryGames. Each game if given an average score (a 5 seeing as how that's half of 10, at least in my opinion) and has to earn or lose points to determine the final score. How a game earns or loses points is based on what impressed me and what I thought needed improvements, or could have been changed. I'll count all of the points at the end of the review in a Pros and Cons list. The list will be based on gameplay, story, sounds(voice acting music, sound effects, etc.), playability, and graphics. I'll try not to judge a game based on graphics, but I will take off points for games and developers that don't try to make their games look decent. Please keep in mind these are only opinions of a fifteen year boy. You can see what each point value is below: 

1. Garbage-(Probably won't ever buy a game that I rate a 1) You should avoid this game at all costs.
2. Awful-(In the same boat as 1) very little good things to be said about a game that gets rated this low.
3. Poor- Too many complaints about the game that makes it unenjoyable. 
4. Bad- Some parts of the game were good, but there are some significant issues that make it from being better. 
5. Mediocre- an average game, the good and the bad equal the game out to make it average 
6. Okay- Some parts of the game are enjoyable, but some problems keep it from being better 
7. Good- A decent game from beginning to end, some issues here and there, but still good 
8. Great- A game that I found to be quite enjoyable. There may be something that I thought could have been better, but it's still a great game nonetheless.
9. Amazing- A game that I thought, is an incredible game that everyone should give a try.  I got a lot of fun out of a game that gets rated this high. 
10. Masterpiece- A game that is probably one of the best in the industry at the time. A game that I thought had no problems at all, or that the good overrated the bad to an incredible amount .
