The lights are on
Well sorry that this update is so late, but after looking through the comments, and asking a few people we have the results for what movie we will be watching.
Well, as some of you may remember, awhile ago there was the first ever GIO Movie Night by wayoverdue, and as you probably have noticed there haven't been any more since. Luckily for those of you who participated and enjoyed it, wayoverdue has asked me to take this over for him. Which is why I am proud to announce the return of The GIO Movie Night!
For those of you who read by blog a few days ago about my idea to get the most out of my games, you'll know that on May 1st I am going to cut all but three games from my life for an entire three months. And then after the three months, switch to another set of three games to play. I've decided to go along and call what I'm doing, an indoctrination (Not the Mass Effect 3 ending kind), so before I start my indoctrination I will be doing one more thing because I know that I will miss all my precious games...
So here I am, about to play a sport for the first time, and I'm not happy about it at all. They made me put on these weird red looking clothes, they even made me take off my Halo helmet. Oh well, maybe this will all pay off.
A while ago I realised that there is a problem, a problem with the way I game. And the problem is making every game I play lose value, the problem is that I actually have too many games. I know that this sounds like a good thing, but eventually I realised that I'm spending less and less time with every game I own. There once was a time when I had one game that I would play for months on end and spend 500+ hours in even though it was only a 3 hour game.
Well, I originally wasn't going to do a WGWC, but after commenting "Challenge Accepted" on BlakHeartedWolf's post about the return of WGWC, I kind of feel obligated to do so now. As you know, the topic for this week is triumph, I won't be able to write a thought provoking blog like Chris did, but I do have one case of triumph that I think would be good to share.
Yes, the top-ten Gordon Freeman quotes, some of you may argue that he is a silent protagonist. Well I disagree, I think it's a perfect blog topic, and also perfectly possible, to list all of those great, amazing things that Gordon Freeman has said during his adventures.
Well after a lot of figuring out how to upload the video, I've finally got around to posting this blog! So for the few that have been reading about my game in my last two posts, I'm making a third post. And I know that a few of you are really looking forward to this. This post is obviously about all the various bugs and glitches that I've encountered while making the game. And how I've managed to fix most of these various glitches.
Well, after the very positive response of the first part, in which I gave the basics and a few pictures of the game, it looks like I will be continuing this as a series. In this second part, I will be going in to detail about the simple and free game programming tool, GameMaker, which a couple of people of asked about. So I think it best that I tell you a bit about it.
That's right, I'm making a game, it may only be a small top-down, 32-bit, game; but I'm still making a game, and it's pretty important to me. So after some thinking, I'm going to tell you all about my little game. And if this gets a positive enough response, I might even turn this into a series. So here is everything you need to know, (and I'm willing to say) about my game.

After the release of such great titles such as Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Uncharted 3 and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword; many people are calling 2011 the greatest year ever for gaming. Some people have objected against this by saying this year will be, or in one case: 2001. How many though have considered 2007? Take a look back at are commonly known as the greatest games of this generation and you'll notice one thing they all have in common, 2007. So what "great" games were released in 2007? Umm...
