    Nintendo hasn't exactly lit the downloadable scene on fire in recent memory. In fact, third-party developers like WayForward, 2D Boy, and Nicalis have dominated the WiiWare and DSiWare scene, not Nintendo. This strategy might sound good on paper, but with the rise of smartphone and tablet gaming, Nintendo needs to step up its efforts in order to make their downloadable platform more attractive.
