My name is Thomas Hicks, I'm 21 years old and I've been playing video games longer than I've been doing anything else. I was pretty naive gamer up until my high school years. I pay attention to video game news more than any other subject. I feel I have a special insight about the industry and where it's headed. I would love to work for Microsoft one day as a creative lead on the Xbox team to help expand and evolve the system. I'm currently going to college for Business and politics.

I have a special place in my heart for Nintendo, but have been hurt by them in the past few years, since they no longer seem to care about my video game interests. I have a lot of hope for the video game industry. I hope that it will become the best entertainment medium out there; being accessible to everyone, hardcore, casual or even the "I"ve never played video games before" Gamers.

I'm a father of one, my daughter Scarlett. I'm a Big brother to 5 and a little brother to 1. I'm very active and live a healthy lifestyle. I never second guess a fun opportunity and am willing to experience most anything. I'm not much of a writer but I have a strong opinion on the video game market so I will blog from time to time.
