I was raised in a gaming family, and I've been playing games since I was 8-years-old. My big bro was the one who taught me all there is to know about game consoles and stuffs like that. He got me heavily into PC gaming as well. Also, my family owns virtually every system that has released. :O
It's safe to say the first game I ever played was Golden Eye on the Nintendo 64, which made me a casual gamer. At first, I thought all games were mindless shooters with not much story, but then I stumbled across the J-RPG for the GameCube called Tales of Symphonia, which opened up a whole new world for me in gaming. I became hooked in the nerdism of games after that.
My first MMO was World of Warcraft, but I stopped playing it a few years ago, since I began to lose interest in it. I like pretty much any game that is interesting and has some sort of character and plot substance - so, one of my favorite game companies out there is Bioware. FPSs are fun, and I really like the intense moments in most of them. My first FPS was Halo: Combat Evolved, playing co-op with my brother. I readily admit that I fell in love with it.
From there, my horizon has broadened, and it continues to broaden with each new game release.
Side Note : I also love watching anime and reading manga. <3
