Hey there everybody! I must say it's really cool to be interacting with such a huge gamer community. I love this magazine so much it was only natural for me to migrate onto the site as well. I guess I'm supposed to fill this box in with stuff about me. Here goes.
I've been around video games since the day I was born. My Dad (RIP) bought an Atari and thought it was just "the coolest dang thing". Unfortunately I was too young and not trusted with electronics (I had a few prior run-ins with wires, but I will never divulge). The first game I ever played was Donkey Kong Country on SNES and needless to say it changed me forever.
*One of the best games ever created*
After that I got my hands on an N64. Who remembers the very first Rainbow Six? One of the fondest memories I have with my father is sitting down and playing that game for hours on end. Good stuff.
The first console I ever bought with my own money was a Dreamcast. What an amazing piece of technology. Shenmue took many hours of my life away and I don't want them back. I've either owned or at least played every console. The only one that I haven't even touched a controller for is the PS3. I'm not a hater, I just have no interest in it. ***never mind! I picked up a PS3 and am loving it*** My Xbox 360S is my last surviving Microsoft console. I burned through 4 Xbox's before finally getting the new slim model. I love that 250g HDD.
Anyway, I'm a 25 year old who has served 6 six years in the USAF. I have pretty strong opinions and I tend to voice them (always in a professional and respectful manner, of course). I'm still fairly new here, so criticism is more than welcome, constructive or not so much.
