My Dad used to tell me stories about how, at the age of two or three my addiction started. He said I would sit there for hours on end with a SNES controller in my hands.....and the cord was never even plugged in. As I grew up my hobby turned into a passion. The fondest memories I have are of my brothers and I staying up late to beat mario, power stone, halo and on and on.
In junior high and high school I picked games over parties and would rather level up my character in FFXI rather then find a date for prom. Hahah what I nerd I was. I just always remember games blowing me away and bringing my family close together. Trips to Gamestop to make trade ins where like chirstmas eve to us. My brothers and I moved from SNES, to Psone, Ps2, and dreamcast.
Bouts of street fighter, Cowboys and Indians, Mortal Combat put me on the road to gaming...and games such as Legend of Zelda Ocarinca of time, Madden, Chrono Trigger, Tales of Symphonia, and Metal Gear Solid made sure I stayed. Usually now you can find me playing anything I can get my hands on (past and present) and expanding my knowledge of gamings history through other media.
After saving princess after princess, all night fragfests and scouring dungeons for the greatest loot, I tried my hand in game programing at my college. These plans got put on hold for my career in the United States Army....for now anyway. I never have much time anymore but I am trying to get back into my gaming roots when I get time. GAME ON BRAH
