My name is Corey and I'm a HUGE fan of Mario games. My first game when I was a little boy was Super Mario World, and that's the game that got me into loving Mario games, and anything else video games. I've played every main Mario entry (side-scrolling Super Mario Bros. and the 3D Mario games) ever since Super Mario Bros. on the NES, up to Super Mario 3D Land. I've also played many of the Mario spin-off entries (the RPGs, sports, racing, pinball, puzzle, fighting, party games) such as: Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars (my 2nd favorite RPG ever, the first being Chrono Trigger), the whole Mario & Luigi series, Mario Party, Mario Kart, the sports games, etc. I'm obsessed with Mario, and any character related with Mario, but I play non-Nintendo systems just as much, and I'm not afraid to criticize Mario games that suck (Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games). Mario is just such an iconic character in the video game world, and I get a rush of happiness and nostalgia every time I see him and closely related characters like Luigi or Wario. I do play other games outside of Mario, like Dead Space, Gears of War, Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda (I love most Nintendo franchises), Call of Duty, the Elder Scrolls, etc. I love Mario, but I play a wide variety of games. My favorite game of all time is Banjo-Kazooie, and I love the platforming genre, which is probably why I love Mario so much, plus the fact that I grew up playing Mario games. I know I sound like a total nerd, but I'm not. My room isn't filled to the brim with Mario plushies and toys, I don't have Mario posters covering all of my walls, nor do I spend all of the hours of the day drawing and fantasizing about Mario. I have played and beaten most Mario games, but somewhere along the line I've always sold them or gave them away(stupid decisions). I'm re-collecting those games though, through old game stores, online shops, etc. I love video games in general, even excluding Mario, but I do have a life outside of them. I am a senior in high school, and when I graduate I either want a job in the medical field or the video game industry, the latter of which seems more like a dream than something I could turn into reality. I would love to work for Nintendo.. Hey, I can dream can't I? I love to spend time with my girlfriend, swim, hang out with friends, exercise, and just be relaxed. I'm a mellow, chilled, sometimes shy person. I'm friendly and easy to get along with, much like Yoshi. I'll be joyed to get acquainted with anyone that wants to be acquainted with me, and you can just refer to me as your friendly neighborhood Mario fanatic. Cheers!
