  • I just played The Evil Within for the last few days, but had to return it to the rental store since it was reserved for someone else.   My thoughts so far is that it's a good stealth action title with horror as the backdrop, but it is more tense than scary.  Meanwhile, I am still at level 28 in Destiny, and I have been trying to complete Vault of Glass, but for some reason I never get put into a fireteam.  So, that is just impossible to accomplish.  I also rented Borderlands The PreSequel, just because it was there, and I am stuck at the 1st level because Jack's A.I. is really stupid.  He is supposed to lead me to a door and open it to get to a rocket  so we can go to the moon.  Instead, he walks in circles, into walls, and back to the beginning of the stage just to stand there looking like an idiot. I am not impressed with this game at all, and I am glad that it was only  $4 to rent for 3 days.  I recommend saving your money and skipping this junk, or at least wait until it gets a good patch if you are intent on purchasing this mess. on 24 Oct 2014 1:20 AM
  •  Phil Lester YOU GOT PHIL LESTER! (AKA AmazingPhil) You got AmazingPhil, a sweet, innocent and adorable lad.  HOW YOU MET: You were waiting for one of your friends at the movie theatre to see Carrie. You got a text, so you pulled out your phone and checked it. Your friend had texted you. Hey, sorry, I can't make it. You sighed and shook your head, putting away your phone and walking into theatre 7. Since it was a midnight screening, there was only one seat left in the last aisle. You walked over and sat down, ready to see one of the scariest movies of the year. As soon as it strated, your hand began shaking. You set it on the armrest to calm the quivering. The person next to you rested their hand on yours. "Are you alright?" A boy's voice said. You turned and saw your favorite YouTuber, Phil Lester. You nodded, breathing heavily. He smiled, then looked back at the screen. You did too, still scared out of your wits. Eventually, you screamed and hid your face in Phil's shoulder. He put his arm around you and put up the armrest, pulling you two closer together. For the rest of the movie, you stayed in this position. When the lights turned back on, you slowly looked up at Phil, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry, I would have done that to my friend if he had bothered to come." You apologized, moving away from him. He smiled at you, shaking his head. "It's fine. I was hoping I'd meet a pretty girl." He said. You smiled, scratching the back of your neck. "Um, this is a bit sudden, but can I have your number?" You asked. He smiled and nodded, handing you his phone. You programmed your number in and handed it back to him. "Here you go." You said, standing up. He stood up with you. "Can I walk you out? You seemed a bit scared during the movie." He chuckled. You nodded, putting on your backpack. He took your hand and the two of you walked out to your car.  HOW HE ASKS YOU OUT: You were on YouTube on day, just scrolling through, when you saw Phil had posted a new video. The title was: BIG BIG QUESTION. You clicked on the video and smiled when his face came up on the screen. He smiled and waved to the camera. "Hey everyone! So, the title is true, this is a big, big question. But, its for Y/N, the girl I met at the movie theatre months ago, and have been texting ever since. But, if all Philions want to listen, that's fine. So, Y/N," You blushed as he smiled nervously. "I really like you. I haven't gotten you out of my head ever since. So, comment below with the movie title we went to see, and your answer." He said, then went on about something random. You commented below, after watching the entire video. You said: The movie was Carrie. Phil, I'd love to go out with you. It took about 2 minutes, but he finally responded back: Great. I was so freaking nervous. on 21 Oct 2014 3:28 PM

  • Most of GamerGate is either really dense, cynical of women, or misogynist. Or at least that's what I see. The sensationalist media may like to hyperbolize it, but as much as they'd like to deny it, there's been some pretty questionable things from the start. Concerns over honesty in gaming media? That's good. Concerns over honesty in gaming media brought up over a stuck up ex's biased blog that will inevitably attract some stuck up men to your movement? Not so much. It really shouldn't surprise people that it went this way. Of course one could argue that it's a surprise it went downhill this badly, but you can't ignore the aformentioned irony. I'd say it's a good time for GamerGate's more rational members to hit the reset button, right? on 24 Oct 2014 1:48 AM
