Ironic...that I've recently blogged on the idea of including civilians in military themed first person shooters and measures video game developers could take to promote team work...when the following intel regarding Future Soldier came across my desk that discusses both concepts. Perhaps Future Soldier is the game I've been waiting for...
A peek at my inventory of games would quickly reveal that I am a fan of First Person Shooters (FPS). It's not ALL I play, but it is definitely the majority of what I play. Right now I am devoting most of my time to Battlefield Bad Company 2 (Single Player).I don't know the name of the map I'm on (I'm too lazy to look it up - Heavy Metal maybe?)...but it's the one where you blow a bunch of stuff up while driving the tanks, you get to a river and set out on foot. You have to use your laser designator to paint a bunch of bad guys on the roofs of buildings and then you start up this hill towards this massive city.
Star Wars.I love Star Wars.Video Games.I love Video Games.
I was never a big Apple / Mac fan...it's not that I don't like them (who doesn't like those shiny fancy looking computers, but sheesh, who can afford one), but as a gamer, I always gravitated towards the PC. And since Apple doesn't offer a game console (although I think one day they will) I just never really gave Apple much attention.
Pardon the short, uninspiring and "wanders around aimlessly" blog, but I had somewhat of a hectic and crappy day (wife had surgery and I'm just getting home after 12 hours at the hospital surrounded by sick people - talk about feeling helpless).
