I heard this story on the news this morning, and perhaps you did too...about how the Boy Scouts have a new badge for playing video games (I'm serious ). Depending on where you read the story, it's all kinds of biased...For one, it's not the... More

As a self proclaimed video game enthusiast and freelance game blogger (I have even been called a professional gamer, though I’m not sure that is a fitting title…certainly not on skill and ability…but perhaps on enthusiasm and interest... More

I’m not a big fan of YouTube…mostly because it can be a rather time consuming and addictive endeavor. You go to look at one clip; you see something else that looks interesting; you watch it; you see something else that looks interesting;... More

I may have written a blog remotely similar to this one a while back. To be honest, I write so many that sometimes what sounds like an original idea is actually something I've written before and I'm just remembering it instead of it really being... More

I was flipping through this month’s Game Informer when I stumbled across the article on Fear 3. On page 66, there is a shot of some game concept art that shows a rather disturbed (and pregnant?) female that looks like she would have no problem making... More

Potential Spoilers: This blog is going to discuss Splinter Cell: Conviction. While I won't intentionally reveal any critical information to the story, I may mention a few things that you might not want to hear if you are playing or plan to play the game. Read at your own risk.

First and foremost, let me just say Happy Friday. I realize not everyone has the weekend off, but if you're like me and I know some of you are, Friday marks the start of a few days off; a time when you probably should be doing something productive... More

I like comic books (but this blog isn't entirely about them - read on). That shouldn’t be a huge surprise since lots of gamers like comic books. It’s just part of our geeky nature. My favorite comic book is Amazing Spiderman #129. I like... More

Some colleagues and I were sitting around the virtual water cooler reminiscing about days of old and how things have changed in the wonderful world of video gaming. Since we are fans of first person shooters, naturally that is the direction the conversation... More
