The lights are on
It's been a while since my last blog, and you have The Duke to thank for this one....Recently GI reported that a multiplayer capture the babe mode, would call for babe spanking.Not to harp on an old subject, but naturally sexism has been mentioned more then once in the comment section below this story and i wanted to weigh in from a woman's prospective.I am not a feminist. I believe in equality, but i do not believe feminism in general is really pursuing this end. It's great to have equality in the workspace or equal opportunity's for employment, but there's a line between that and saying what a woman should or should not do, or what a woman should or should not wear.It's every woman's right to decide if she want's to be career driven or family driven, and there should be no criticism for either choice she makes.I think as a society we have gone to another extreme with both racism and sexism. Now instead of treating everyone equally according to the person they are, we look at them and edit our action's according to what we think may or may not offend them. We treat each of them be it a woman or someone of a different race overly special according to a stereo-type.Which to me seem's kind of condescending. It's like saying "Oh your one of THEM, you can't handle people acting like this or saying thing's like that."Because of this, neither sexism or racism will ever really be eliminated.I'm a woman. I was in no way offended by the new's that a game featured women being spanked. And really, i don't think any one else should be either. S.P.K.
A few year's back, Caleb moved in with my brother, and his then girlfriend. I had went over to spend the night, and her and i were playing monopoly. Caleb and my brother come home completely wasted, and tripping on i don't want to know what.
Thawing
Last month i recieved this letter from Caleb.
This is more of a generaliized post. I haven't gone anywhere's, i just changed my name. I know i don't have to say this to the old user's, but i thought i'd be polite, and let the new guy's know. If someone's on your friendlist, and they change their name, they will show up as there new name.
This is not what you think it is.
This happend about six year's ago, Me and a few friend's used to go to this place called "the dune's". It was just a place to take your dirtbike's or ATV's and cut loose.
Caleb, is 25, and is possibly the worst person i know. But he's been my older brother's best friend since pre-k, so somehow he became my friend as well. I figured this would be a good place to set up some of his more...mod friendly adventure's. Procede at your own risk.
