The lights are on
Buying this game day one I had many expectations on how much fun I will have popping this into my gaming console. However I found myself filled with frustation just like many of the other Battlefield games. I have one of the fastest internet connections and couldnt believe I couldnt get a decent game without lag, and to top it off, I only played 2 gaming sessions- after then I kept getting the connection lost message (And Ive tried restarting my modem- nothing worked online wise. Although the singleplayer campaign was satisfying; Graphics awesome, the sound effects a major improvement. Im sorry to tell you guys but, this is no COD killer... Gamble your wallet at your own risk is all i'll say. Dont expect to jump into a gaming session right off bat
I believe this to be a great game, but Killzone has always been the shadow of the Halo franchise. IDk why, but it is. Im giving it a high score for Graphics, Storytelling, and fun factor- hardly replay value unless you wanna play it multiplayer= pass... would rather go COD or Battlefield
Im considering renting this game, saw clips of gameplay, reminds me of the old school days when I was a young teen on a weekend off from school and sports. At first I considered giving it a 5/10 but saw it at all gamestops for $20 so it gets a boost- mine as well check it out eh
Im not going to lie, I was expectin this game to be bad but boy how wrong was I to even think. Through the screen shots and the media clips its a no brainer this game deserves the high score it gets. Although it is a action platformer/puzzle- after I beat these type of games I almost never play again, since the first time experience is the best. Companies need to take notes from GOW not by depriving there ideas per'sae, but add alot more juice to there games, because most of them seem abit rushed by the year and season. Its funny because Dantes Inferno should've been 360 only, and now almost noone is going to give it a second thought now that GOW is coming out that game is going straight back to gamestop if ps3 users already bought it. My rating: 9.75 because it minus' rpg element- but this proves not all games need that~ this game is indefinet nominee game of the year
Idk what it is about the battlefield games, it feels like after the first couple of hours your having the time of your life- and then its like once you've done and seen it all in the game it gets repetitive and boring. I played the demo and such- it was fun using the variety of vehicles to your choosing; I wouldn't compare this to Call of Duty, i'll put this in the same category as Mag- I gave it a 6 meaning its not too grand, nothing new, and everything I expected it to be- DICE makes good quality games but theres just something missing with all of them that I cant figure it out. Its worth a buy, definetly if your into crazy vehicular warfare.
Ok here goes. I wouldn't call this game a fail or a success. It has it's ups and downs, and does have its qorky generic ways; And gets frustrating afterawhile, since half of the people use there mics and the others just go about a frolock shooting any enemy in sight. Does this mean the end of Mag? no I believe not, maybe there'll be a second rounder that'll take ideas from other war games and add some more to the addition.
