The lights are on
Once upon a time, i was playing Modern Warfare 2 in Karachi, and i was doing extremely good. I was was killing everyone, and i hardly had any deaths. Well, there was this guy, who i will not name, kept going to the same spot trying to snipe me, but i always killed him. Well, the match ends, i leave and go play a different match, when i receive a message. Guess who? That same guy that tried sniping me. he said something like "You cunt muffin. Go kill yourself," i can't recall what he said exactly. I was pretty bummed out, i mean, here i was, playing a game to have fun, and then some random guy comes and says to go kill myself. So i was bummed out, until i got an idea. That guy only send that message cause i killed him a lot, so here is what i think that made me happy. You cannot be a good player until you get hate mail, it is proof that your skill makes other people jealous and angry. So people, don't get mad when you get hate mail from random people, accept it as a compliment.
When i went to pick up my copy of Modern Warfare 2, i thought to myself, Im not going to play it until i am done with all my school work. I followed that rule until the second day...i was, like many of you are, hooked. I spent the whole weekend, including many sleepless nights, playing Modern Warfare. For one of the first time since World of Warcraft, a game has made me get me this obsessive. Tell you the truth, it is the only think i've been thinking about the past week. Im sitting in my desk in school, pretending to listen to my AP History Teacher, but all im doing is thinking about what titles i am going to unlock today, and with who am i going to play. I try to turn every conversation into a Modern Warfare 2 conversation, even when we are talking about music, i would tell them how i make music with my FAL just in case someone else is this obsessed. I even ask my Science teacher (who actually plays games) Modern Warfare 2 stuff in case that he wants to talk about it and maybe make a class discussion about it. Well world...at least i accept this...i am truly obsessed with Modern Warfare 2, its just that every time i unlock a title, i just want to keep unlocking more and more and more.
