Greetingss GIO Community! I've been hanging around this sight for over a year now, reading news, reviews, blogs, and all the nonsense in-between. I think its time for me to put in my two cents every once in a while via a nice little blog about random things, sometimes and somehow tying it all into gaming in some way, shape, or form. I might meander here or there, hop up on a soap box or two, and possibly skirt the edge of good taste and manners. But then again, I might not. We shall see when we get there.I'm 26, and I'm a life-long gamer. Some of my earliest memories involve Mario and Bowser (er...King Koopa) and the never ending quest to find the Princess who was always in the next castle. I'm quick to laugh, slow to anger, but have a very low tolerance for stupidity, in day-to-day life and video games. But I'll play anything, just to give the developers a chance to impress me, amaze me, entertain me in some way.I consider myself a moderately intelligent guy. I have a bachelor's in political science (which is a useless degree by the way). I work at an Arkansas DMV, renewing driver's licenses and car tags. And I don't make enough money to justify the student loan debt I accrued over the course of my years in college, but that's a different story for another day.I'm married to an amazing woman with whom I've been absolute best friends for nearly a decade. We have no children, but we do have a one-year-old shih-tzu named Evie; a more ridiculously spoiled pooch you will never see. But back to my wife: she's teaches at a local middle school, makes barely more money than I do, but hates her job just as much. She doesn't care much for gaming, thinking it a waste of time and money. But she knows how much it means to me. I like to escape from the dullness of life into a digital landscape where I can gun down wayward gangsters, blast through a horde of zombies, or hack my way through a dragon's skull. She gives it a go every once in a while, namely with those awesome LEGO games, which apparently are great for couples...almost as great as IKEA furniture.Well, that's about enough of a wall of text. Of course there's much more to be told, but to anyone who might still be reading at this point, I won't bore you any further. Stay gaming my friends!
