Guitar Hero is a shoddy, poorly constructed, poorly thought out Activision cash cow. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about the cartoony characters and the lack of DLC support. I've spent the last 3 years or so playing Rockband 2, adding only the songs I want. I've probably only paid the price of around two games. You Guitar Hero fans, on the other hand, have to pay $60 for a new set of songs. Oh, and I was actually awarded for buying the first Rockband because I can play essentially all of those songs in Rockband 2, and I only had to pay 5 bucks for a little license. That isn't something you can say. Rockband Network is the better version of the user made content that Guitar Hero attempted and failed to implement. Have fun wasting money with your useless purchases. I'm sure the craptastic Guitar Hero VanHalen totally makes up for all the stuff that is wrong with that series. Rockband hasn't ever made a game that was so bad that they had to give it away with another one just to move copies, nor has it ever insulted any of music's greats.

Yeah right.
