I bought Rock band 3 for my family because they love music games. I have rock band 2 and I can tell you that I was surprised and letdown with the third installment of the music game giant.
I was at my local Game stop the other day. Low on funds and wanting something to play. So what to do? I wandered around and found two games Rygar the legendary adventure and Sphinx and the cursed mummy both for four dollars and ninety five cents! Wow what a deal and good luck! Good luck because My old copy of Sphinx bit the dust and I really want to replay it.
I love the Lego games. They have a sense of humor that is unseen in a lot of games. Another aspect of Lego games is that sometimes they can be frustrating beyond belief. This game Lego Bat man is one of the few games I can sit down with my sons and play and not have to worry about swearing, Improper situations, or extreme violence
Disney's Ultimate Band on Wii is a very interesting game for kids. It is a music game along the lines of Lego rock band which means it's aimed for children. However where most music games use some musical instrument shaped controller, this just uses your Wii controllers.
I had such high hopes for this game. First let me say this UA1 was a gaming masterpiece. I loved it, the story the gameplay was perfect. UA2 is crap. They ignored the UA1 storyline, They dropped the multiple costumes, and they screwed up the whole "civil war" storyline. The only two characters you need to play in this game is deadpool and the human torch there the two most powerful people in the game. I solved the game in three days. I promptly traded the game in and got pinball hall of fame.
Before you go and start trash talking these games for lack of this or not innovated enough. You have to take in account Data East's true source of income: sugared up kids at arcades, not console systems. Bad dudes does follow the same rehashed plot of every other fighting game at the time. Plots were not needed in arcades between playing, talking to friends, and checking out girls, who had time for a plot. this was designed to supply a way to kill time and trash your buddy's high score before your older brother came to pick you up.
