I am part of the Th1rt3en Ghosts clan which is primarily PS3 based.  The clan name and our individual  names are inspired by the updated film "Thir13en Ghosts".  I came up with the idea back in 2002 playing the game SOCOM: US NAVY SEALS after watching the film about 3 times on HBO over a weekend and even had a couple of fellow ghosts in that game who thought the idea was a fun one and something different.  Over the years, the clan faded as the PS2 and SOCOM series did also, but with the release of the PS3 and a little game called Killzone 2, the clan was about to be reborn.

The core group of us have been playing together now for nearly 2 years and are from all over the country.  We are actively seeking people to fill out the remaining few ghost names that are still available.  We are looking for men AND women, so don't be shy ladies!  You can be proud to belong to a clan that feeds off of the fact that there are supposed to be women in gaming.  Some of our toughest competition has been against female gamers.  Of course, we are accepting the guys out there as well, so don't feel left out.  If you are interested in enlisting and taking a name (the only way to join, sorry, that's what we are), or just want to know more about the clan, please visit the clan site at www.clan1g3.com.  Our primary goal is to be the most feared yet respected clan in the gaming community.  We pride ourselves on good sportsmanship win or lose and regardless of whether the opposition reciprocates our ideals. 

As of now, we have 7 of the 13 roster spots filled.  We only require 6 more to completely finalize all 13 Ghosts!  To see what names are still available, visit the clan site linked above and if you are interested, there are instructions on how to join our ranks. The new and improved site is now up and running and the clan loves the design and interaction it offers.  The application and initiation process is lengthy, and intentionally so.  We want members who plan to stick around for the long run and will be dedicated to playing the games we choose collectively and actively participating in both events and via the website.  If we can get all 13 slots filled, we truly feel that as a tight knit small group, we will make a serious name for ourselves over time as a professional gaming clan.  

As of March 1, 2012 the Th1rt3en Ghosts have been playing Killzone 3 and are currently more of a casual clan.  Come this winter, we expect to get back into the full swing of things when we tackle the fall/winter lineup including the new COD title, Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, and Rainbow Six: Patriots.
