I'm 28 years old, living in Pittsburgh, engaged, and finishing up my undergrad (I'm a slow learner). Actually, I took some time off ( 5 years can sure fly by) to grow up before starting back a year ago. I feel for older people who go back/start after decades.

Obviously, I love video games as they're not only great to look at (for the most part), play, and experience, but fun to discuss with friends as well. In fact, video game discussion usually take up around half of our conversations. While I do love VGs my first love is for comics, X-Men has been my lifelong favorite,so you can find me here trying not to mess things up too badly. As of late, I've been doing comic reviews over here at comicvine.

I also love fantasy but, truth be told, I only read Michael Moorcock's Elric books. Maybe I'll check out his other works as well as those of other authors someday.

I love languages and was lucky enough to be exposed to Spanish by native speakers from the Dominican Republic (arguably) before the blasted critical period snapped it's evil, evil jaws down upon me. I've also studied French, negligible German, Japanese, and Italian but am now focusing on Mandarin with a Taiwanese twist. I plan to do work in law enforcement or perhaps become a dialectologist. 

I'm grateful to the GIO community for all of its wonderful insights, colorful/funny/creative opinions, and helpful advice.
