This is the cleanest and nicest police car I've ever been in in my life. This thing's nicer than my apartment.

Okay people. Due to certain circumstances in my life, I've been going through the process of starting over with things in my life, and that includes any online activity I was involved with. I'm forever signing off of this profile, but don't worry! I'm creating a new one. Now, as a gamer, this is where I like to have fun with this: if you want to friend me again, you have to find me. ;) It won't be too hard since I'm sort of not straying too far from the name you see now. Happy hunting! ^_^

Is the Kinect-less Xbox One really that great for the long term? Time will tell, but they've really lost a key differentiating factor that I've heard many praise, and now any potential invention in the motion control space is truly effed. The One's Kinect was super advanced and had huge potential, but no dev will gamble on an optional device that won't guarantee a compatible audience. Cliff Bleszinski once said that if MS sucked up the bad press and slower sales of the online dependent version for a couple of years, they would be reaping the benefits of a future-proofed platform in the long run. After all, Sony sold PS3s at a loss for 4 years, but they turned it around by adding to the platform, not reigning things in out of denial. They grew the services until they were attractive and patiently watched the cost go down. I wonder if Microsoft even knows where they're going anymore.

Practical effects don't always = good. 9 times out of 10 that word "practical" and its very "revival" has become nostalgia bait to pave over bad scripts, acting and stories. CGI is not the enemy. Crap films and hack directors are.

I'm leaving this site for good today. I'm sorry to all of my friends, it is certainly not your faults. I actually made a comment today on the post for Kaley Cuoco's Funny or Die Diablo 3 video about how disgustingly ugly she is and they pulled it. I was just having fun and sharing an honest opinion. I thought I was hallucinating when my first comment got pulled so I typed another one. That's when I got a message from Jeff Cork explaining the removal. You guys can see the exchange on page 2 of the comments for that video. At first I apologized like a nice guy, but I then I started thinking about it. What kind of site lets people berate each other, but when I make a comment about a D-list actress I get my opinion pulled. I used to think this site was the king of video game journalism, but now I realize they are commercial whores like every other site. Now I can feel comfortable saying that 4chan and Reddit are the only sites worth going to regarding video game info. As you can see I changed my tag and photos to show my utter disdain. Obviously the prudes at GI will remove this page eventually, but I urge my friends to direct people to this page. Post this whole page on Reddit or 4chan. Create awareness!

I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! listen to the silent hills trailer. could "dad" be the ceo of konami, and the fact that he "killed us all" be the fact that the ceo is going to be firing lots of staff at konami? and the "i will be coming back, and i'm bringing my new toys." mean that kojima is in fact releasing del toros' game insane with norman reedus, and the kojima staff? was p.t. and silent hills just kojima using production money from konami to promote his first game as an independent game studio? i mean the game is called "silent hills," so it could mean that there are two in the works, one by konmai, and another by kojima.

Okay. I thought I knew what I was in for when I played Bloodborne. I knew I'd like it a lot. maybe even love it. But it has exceeded every expectation that I had. The atmosphere is out of this world good. Little touches that remind me of REmake. Like individual wall sconces that have candles in them with flickering flames. Volumetric fog in certain locations. Beautifully dark and Gothic architecture. Areas with colorful flowers leading to a forested area. the gameplay is stellar as well. It's going to feel a lot different going back to the slower pace of past Souls games. The quickness of movement is liberating. I haven't even beaten it yet and I've put in a lot of hours. If the quality keeps up like it is, this will officially replace Demon's Souls as my favorite From/Miyazaki game. It's that good.
