Dead space, Arkham asylum and Bioshock: these games were exciting new properties that took a fresh breath and a leap of faith into widespread fame and accord. But whats more terrifying than that first jump? Landing on a ledge of success: and then taking an even more dangerous leap. The leap into a sequel. While an original is fresh and new, the sequel now has to incorporate the successful portions without treading over old ideas. They need to keep it fresh while keeping what made it special in the sequel. And now with its huge fan base, it will be heavily judged by its former success by us and reviewers. They appear to be shaping into amazing games from what we,ve seen but will they succeed? Lets hope these continuations kick as much ass as we hope they will.
