  • The Greatest PS3 titles

    18

I finally did it; after being a 360 gamer for so long (with a little bit of Wii on the side), I finally caved in earlier this morning and got a brand new 160 GB PS3 slim!  It was such a great feeling walking out of Walmart with the precious package in my hands.  What's even better is that I no longer have to worry about the arbitrary 'console wars' anymore (not that I ever did anyways).

  • Alan Wake: As Confusing As Ever (Spoiler Alert)

As I write this, my mind is still reeling from all that has happened in Remedy's sleeper hit Alan Wake.  I just finished up "The Signal" about ten minutes ago,  and as I think back on the events that have occured in this Twin Peaks-esque psychological thriller, it still makes my brain hurt.  Just what exactly is going on in this game, and what is happening to Alan Wake?

  • The Curse of the Completionist

    5

In my years of gaming, I have always been a sucker for finding all of the collectibles or acheiving a 100% completion in video games (although I have rarely acheived the latter).  Whether it was finding every peanut-like hidden package in Grand Theft Auto III, finding all of those pretty heart containers in Ocarina of Time (I couldn't resist those shiny things!), or getting all 120 stars in Super Mario 64, I could not help trying to get all that the game had to offer.

  • I finally conquered Dead Space! (Some spoilers)

    3

I never thought I would get it done, but I finally got all 48 acheivements for Dead Space!  Getting that last acheivement (Epic Tier 3 Engineer) was one of the most brutal, yet very satisfying, challanges I've accomplished in a video game.

  • Modern Warfare 2: Weapon Lust

    15

I've had Modern Warfare 2 for a week now, and I'm enjoying every minute of it.  I've already completed the campaign on hardened difficulty (now I just gotta contend with Veteran, yikes!), gotten a minimal 4 stars in Spec Ops, and just lvled up to 26 in the very addicting online multiplayer.

  • Old Mario VS. New Mario

    22 1

This is my third blog and I'm going to keep it simple as I have with my first two.  Anyone who proclaims themself as a gamer, or has even played a video game, knows who Mario is.  And here is my question:  Which is better, the old 2D, side-scrolling Mario, or the Galaxy trippin', bumblebee crossdressing newer Mario?

  • Anyone else looking forward to Bioshock 2?

    20

I just finished the first Bioshock not to long ago, and I'm waiting patiently for the second.  What do you all think about what you've heard about Bioshock 2 so far, and how do you think the multiplayer will stack up to MW2?

  • Which Resident Evil game is your favorite?

    2

Resident Evil is undeniably the most well-known and respected survival horror series in the video game industry.  We all remember our first (very frightining) encounter with the zombie hound as it bursts into the mansion hall through the window, or when all of our attention is on the Licker crawling along the ceiling upside-down in Re2, and we will never forget the dreaded Nemesis (not the crappy one from the movie).
