The lights are on
So here is my dilemma. I used to be obsessed with well maybe not obsessed with but pretty attached to playing games online. I don't know were my love of it waned.
The past blog I talked about this band and how they opened up for No More Goodbyes the first night I found them ( NMG ) , well they are pretty good also, though not much my style, don't get me wrong I like some good industrial music like NIN, Ministry, and Marylin Manson.Though I like this band and will support them and their music I think they are lacking the "it" factor for me. There is just something missing but I cant place it, maybe its because I'm so used to really catchy songs. I'm sure some of you on here who like industrial will like it.
I was at the my local rock bar called Clancys a few years back. They usually have some great local music come through there and a few artists from out of townwho are on the national bar tour circuit ( who are makin a name for themselves ) stop through also.
OK So I have had enough with the way our music scene gets treated. We have a lot of local artists who are puttin in a lot of hard work to get their music out there to be heard by people. Finally my town is puttin out quality music for a change, and it deserves to be enjoyed by everyone who wants a fresh of breath air and a break away from the norm.
So I found a job finally. After looking since December. After falling behind so far on my bills that Im about to be evicted, and am scrambling to find a place to move to before my eviction is final and it goes on my credit. Oh and my car is nearly paid off and it might get repoed and if that happens then kiss the new job good bye then I will be jobless, home less and carless.Tripple whammy.
Every year on memorial day weekend on Saturday the day before the Indy 500 our local Alternative rock station X103 hosts a concert called Mayday. For the last ten or so years the ticket price has been relatively the same 20 dollars for a lawn seat, or four tickets for the lawn at the price of 60 dollars. I usually go every year give or take a year I may have missed. So I have basically been to the event almost every year since 1998 when I first started going to them.
June 22nd In Bulgaria the big four masters of metal are joing each other on stage for a four hour concert.Well if your not lucky enough to get tix and fly over seas to see this once in a life time concert, relax it will be broadcasted via satellite to select movie theaters. So it looks like I am going to the Imax in my town and watching a concert on the Imax screen with the bands Metallica Slayer Megadeth and Anthrax all on one stage.Man this is awesome hopefully the tix wont be too expensive.
