The lights are on
The Fable series has always been about choices. In the first two games, you could be either evil or good. The decisions you made were easy because you knew what you wanted to be. If you are like me, you had an evil hero and a good hero. As you begin playing Fable 3, it seems as if your choices are as clear cut as the previous games. I led the revolution and overthrew the king. I would never rule as he did. I would be good to my subjects. I had all the best intentions. Then I found out why the king was ruling the way he was. My heart sank as I realized that if I kept all the promises I'd made on my way to the throne, the people would perish. I decided I would try to earn enough money to pay for the army out of my own pocket and still try to build schools, save precious natural lands, and keep from employing child labor. I wanted to protect the city of aurora. I wanted to give my subjects freedom unlike the king I had overthrown. I also wanted to keep them alive. I couldn't do both.
This is the year I finally put NFL 2K5 on the shelf. Until now, I haven't really seen anything from the Madden franchise (in this generation) that would motivate me to buy it. The animations are finally smooth. The ball finally looks right leaving the quarterback's hand, and it's finally fun to play Madden again.
