I am the son of Jonathon DeBate, a Marine Corp pilot. I was born and raised on Earth, where I received my Doctorate in Aerospace Engineering, and right out of college I signed with IMEC (Interstellar Mining/Extraction Corporation) to design deep space asteroid excavation vessels. I am responsible for leading the design teams of the Survey and Return Vessel (SARV) models 3, 7, and 10. Currently, I am working with a group of brilliant engineers to design a planet-scale excavation barge. We just need to find several sponsors before we can begin the design phase.
