A few weeks back, GIO blogger born4this posted a blog about his favorite games from this generation of consoles. In the comments, I told him that I agreed with his list, but didn't know what to pick for my own favorites. I said, "Perhaps I need to write my own blog on the subject...". He replied to said comment encouraging me to do so.
Today, September 2, 2011, is the day that I got my very own 32 inch flat-screen HDTV, and it's the first HD TV I've ever owned. It was a birthday present. Yes, I'm slow.
Hey guys, have you heard of this new thing called HD? I hear it's the next big thing! Some people are kind of down on it, but I honestly think it'll become the next big new thing, right alongside HD DVD.
Two episodes in one post! Did you miss us? Well if you didn't, we're still here regardless. Most of you already know the reason we haven't had an episode in a couple of weeks, but if not, read this blog. Anyways, on with the show!
Another week older, another week dumber. Koob was busy this week, so Dave volunteered to edit. I'm not sure what he edited out or put in, so... be warned.
This week, we talk about True Crime: Hong Kong, Battlefield 3's online pass, the Guinness 6 Pack, the new Rambo game, and The Amazing Spider-Man 2. There aren't any mind blowing revelations this week, but we didn't have any technical problems this week, so... win?
Going into inFamous 2, my expectations were extremely high. From the previews I had read and the trailers I had watched, it looked like it would be a completely mind blowing experience, and one that would replace the first game as my favorite PS3 exclusive. While inFamous 2 was a great and fun ride for sure, it didn't replace the first inFamous as my favorite PS3 game. Why? The story.
I thought some of inFamous 2's story moments were really dumb, and I'm going to tell you why. Warning: this blog contains extreme story spoilers, sarcasm, and a picture of Captain Picard facepalming.
GIOR: Late Night Edition! ...Wait that came out wrong. What I mean is that I'm posting this episode at 2:30 AM. Why? Because I love you all. Oh, and something about this being episode 21, making the podcast of legal drinking age.
In this week's episode, we discuss the price drop of the 3DS, the Elite Eight announcement, THQ moving on from Red Faction, and more. Oh, and we make a mind blowing discovery that you will not want to miss.
When I woke up this morning, I was expecting an average day. I was going to get on the computer, read up on some news, check my Twitter feed, etc. What I wasn't expecting, however, was this comment from Gamebeast23456's alternate, joke account, MrayFan.
We're twenty episodes old! That's like... a hundred years in podcast time, right?
It's episode 20! This week, we talk about Freddy Krueger being in Mortal Kombat, MegaMan Legends 3 being cancelled, Arrested Development, and Netflix. Yes, we're finally talking about gaming news again. ...Kind of.
We're back! Last week, we did record an episode... badly. We had some technical issues with the recording, and our stand-in editor Gamebeast couldn't get finished with the episode in time, so we canceled it. If you're wondering why Gamebeast was editing and not Koob... it's a long story. I'll post it if someone asks in the comments.
This week, we've got Jayson and special guest Andy on to talk about everything but the news. ...Because there isn't any news. Hope you guys like Kingdom Hearts!
Hello. My name is Mray901, I'm a male teenager, and I like a cartoon called My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Surprised? So am I. If you can believe me, I'm going to tell you the tale of how I came across this show, why I like it, and why you should at least give it a chance.
*Sigh* Sorry about that, I had this whole blog written out, with tons of links, and lost it all because IE9 sucks. (And this isn't my computer, so I won't be downloading a new browser.)
It's Gameinformer Online Radio - Episode 18, you know what that means! That's right, we talk about cartoons and TV for half of the time! ...Wait...
