I started playing video games when I was a tiny kid, but I didn't get serious about them until recently. My brother plays more than I do, but he was not the person to get their own handheld console first--I was.

I want to get this out of the way now: yes, I'm a girl. Yes I play video games. No I don't like people who call me a unicorn in the gaming world. Yes, I play games that are typically designed for girls. No, I am not ashamed. If there's any other questions about video games in relation to my gender, I really don't care to answer them. That's not why I'm here.

I typically enjoy anything from the RPG sector of the video game world. I've played World of Warcraft, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age extensively and love to dive into complex worlds created by the geniuses who get paid way too little for their work. 

I have a lot of aspirations, but someday I want to become either a video game/nerd culture journalist, a voice actress, or a writer for a video game company. To advance my knowledge, I spend a lot of time reading, reviewing, playing, and learning to code. Hopefully I'll gain enough experience so that I can launch my own website in the coming years.
