The lights are on
Video games have been around for nearly half a century, and in that time they've become increasingly misunderstood to the masses. Rarely have I met someone who is not involved with gaming that can actually understand...or rather, not pass judgment on those who play games in their free time. I've grown more and more frustrated that as time moves forward, people become so distrustful of games as a medium of story-telling and entertainment. I hope to bring video games out of this shadow that people have cast on it, and hopefully in the process, people will at least recognize why games are fun. Why people love them. And ultimately, why they should not be used as a scapegoat.
