The lights are on
In 2008 a company known as Media Molecule released a PS3 exclusive called LittleBigPlanet. LittleBigPlanet's premise was on Play, Create, Share. Players were given the tools to craft their own levels and characters. LittleBigPlanet was the first game of it's kind because it put all it's emphasis on creating you own levels, however, it wasn't the first game to give players the tools to customize the game the way the wanted..
Hello and welcome to my newest segment of 40 News! where I put my opinion towards the news. If you are wondering why it has taken so long for me to post a new segment of 40 News! it is because I have been busy and didn't feel I had something to write that I could really flesh out for you the wonderful readers to enjoy. You also may be asking why I have just started writing about the Infity Ward debacle. Well that is because instead of updating the blog constantly I wanted to get to a spot where enough information had come to light that I felt I could give a lot of data and not have to constantly update.
Hello and welcome to my Conslole showdown where I give a (hopefully) un-biased review of the 3 consoles and the PC. So now we will start with the PS3
Ok so I know this is a overused topic and I am sorry for that but fanboys are driving me insane at the moment and I really want to vent. Also as most of you probably know when I say fanboy I mean someone who is completely one sided on their system of choice and attack everyone else for liking the other systems.
Hello and welcome to the second installment of my blog segment 40 News! Where I take a look at what's happening in gaming news, post my opinion about it, and see what the readers have to say in the comments. If you missed my first installment you can find it here.
Welcome to the first edition of my new segment 40 News! Where I discuss news in the video game world and express my opinions on it. I hope it is an enjoyable read and if you have suggestions, comments, love it, or hate it please feel free to tell me.
I am going to be starting a segment known as 40 News! It is a two part blog that covers what I consider major happenings in video game news. The first part will be a look at what the news is and the second part will be an editorial kind of thing where I weigh in on what I think about said news. I am doing this in hopes of refining my writer skills as I want to get a job as a reporter in gaming and because I think it will be fun. I need a image for this segment so if anyone has any ideas they would be appreciated. Right now I am thinking of just using a picture related to the news but I havn't totally decided.

Ok all sarcasm and joking aside I am writing this A. Because I'm bored and B. Because I am curious to see peoples reactions to my article.
First I want to say a few things. These are the most Memorable PS2 games in my life so they are not necessarily my favorite they just have the biggest lasting impression on me and fueled my journey to become a gamer. Second I have not played every game so if one of you think that a game should be there and it isn't there it is probably because i never played it or it didn't affect me like it did you.
No I am not some fanboy who is hear to bash the Wii and no I don't hate the Wii. My family has the Wii and I enjoy playing it with them. However, I would like to bring you back to the 1980's when the video game industry is perishing and Nintendo swoops in and saves it. Now if you don't know why it was collapsing (I just found out) it was because the market was being flooded with crap games and finding the good games was tough. Now Nintendo swooped in and said we have a new system and we will regulate the games so you can trust their quality to be at a certain level. And that saved the industry.
