What is there is say within this text box that hasn't been said in millions of others? To sum many things up, I am a gamer. A hardcore one at times, especially around the times of highly anticipated releases, I've been playing since the SNES. But my true gaming experiences didn't occur until I got my first Xbox. It was my first time to GameStop and my first time ever hearing of Game Informer. I got the console, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3, Halo, and the console came with Jet Set Radio Future and Sega GT. This was my first step into true gaming. It wasn't until then that I was swallowed into this world and became obsessed with trying to get a new title as soon as possible. Games like Halo and the Splinter Cell series showed me how amazing single player, and even local multiplayer, was. But when Halo 2 hit, my knowledge of gaming exponentially grew with its online mode. It was fast paced, well executed; for the most part, and genuinely fun. This newest generation of consoles have delivered the same experiences, and have exceeded them in many ways, and it makes me proud to have immersed myself in this culture.
