The lights are on
If you are like me and like the BioShock series, then you will most certainly enjoy this game. It's graphics are beautiful, especially in the time manipulation areas, and it's violent and creepy take on a different version on the Soviet Russian empire is very impressive. Due to my lack of time this review is going to be short. Singularity is a gruesome and creepy game that should NOT be passed by.
The first time walking through the dimly lit corridoors of Rapture was by far the most memorable experience in my extensive video gaming career. From the minute you step foot inside the bathysphere and see this individual get mercilessly slaughtered, you know that you are in for one hell-of-a ride. Shortly after you pick up your first weapon you encounter this "lady" that appears to be singing to a child in a stroller....what a freaking twisted scene you come across when you take her out! It's got a combination of those old WTF scare tactics and over-all gruesomeness that is top notch by all standards. Yes I will admit that there isn't a multiplayer, but HONESTLY with the superb quality of the campaign you REALLY DON'T NEED MULTIPLAYER. If they would have added multiplayer, I personally believe that the quality of the campaign would have been MAYBE a 7 out of 10 if that. The way the story is told is very unique and if you acquire all of the audio logs and listen to them from the first one to the last one, well, lets just say that the people are a lot more twisted than you think in the city. If you have an X-Box 360 and don't have a copy of BioShock in your video game library, then what the F**k are you waiting for? An invitation? Get your ass down to your local video game store and GET A COPY!!! NOW!!!!!!!
