I am sincerely curious, how many users from 4-5 years ago are still active today?

Very Happy that all Xbox exclusives are going to be on PC as well from here on out. E3 overall has been pretty disappointing this year. Prey was really the only big surprise that has me interested. Xbox and Sony both had okay conferences. Game im most looking forward from Sony is Detroit: Become Human and from Microsoft it's gotta be Dead Rising 4. Also RiP Mr.Hockey.

I will not tolerate stupidity. Or idiots. Go ahead, shout, "YOLO." It's just bringing you one step closer to me.

PC-only gamers will never stop dissing Halo, while simultaneously grumbling that the new one isn't coming to PC.

This is a monument to my middle-school self. I recently received an email regarding my long forgotten subscription to this site, and (remembering my limited contribution to this site) wondered if I still had access to my old, cringeworthy account. Turns out I do. And yikes. So, my profile on Game Informer serves as an example of how little kids react to the internet. According to my old comments I was edgy as hell, found solace in my special snowflakiness, and spoke with every user that would pay mind to my irritating banter (and many, particularly women, who understandably didn't). I wanted to be a videogame journalist at the time, and poorly construed two reviews together: one for Fallout, which I love to this day, and another to Alpha Protocol, which I never played and had to Google to remember even that about it. In conclusion, this time capsule of what I wanted to be seen as to complete strangers has helped me see my roots in the online world. I chose GIO over MySpace, Facebook, and most of the other mainstream social networks at the time. I thought I was subversive and intellectual for not conforming to now typical internet discourse, and that I was above other people. I was way too close to thinking fedoras would be cool. I wasn't quite there. I just thought atheism would take off. God I was a hilarious edgelord. I'm so thankful to have learned self awareness, respect, and humility since then, but am also retrospectively appreciative of my past self for so well encapsulating my then thoughts and interests. Thank you, Game Informer, for allowing me a glimpse back to that simpler time. I've been able to reflect upon how much I have grown as a writer and a person, and had a laugh or two along the way.
