Hello, I am highmrk. Born and raised in southern California, I have always been into video games. Games and film are my passions and possibly music as well. It would be my dream to work in the video game industry (foolish and small chance, I know) as a creative director. I always come up with ideas for games or ideas to improve on already existing games, same thing with films and music. My friends of all backgrounds, education levels, and some with very high taste say that I have pretty good ideas, so it is giving me some confidence to at least try to make it into entertainment.
Oh, and I also have very high standards for everything in life, so I think that helps me and even others by giving them constructive criticism. I would like to thank Game Informer for that. I used to think that reviewers were just saying stupid stuff, but as I grew older and smarter I realized that reviewers are almost always right. Now whenever I look at my own ideas and reflect, it gives me a chance to improve upon them. And that is why I hate when people say "Don't let anyone tell you what's good/bad" or "everyone has an opinion." Because if everything is good, then nothing is good, but that is not the case. I hate the new relativism movement, to where everybody's opinion is completely equal and what not. Well I sure am diverging, aren't I?
Back to my bio, I am currently enrolled in college and I feel as if it is the same high school B.S. that I have already went through. And a lot of things I already know or thought about. I feel as if english class is the only worthwhile class because the professor gives interesting articles and I grow as a writer.
So that's pretty much it, goals of working in entertainment would give my life a purpose because I want to create art for the rest of the world to enjoy and learn from. I already have ideas for movies and video games, so if you're looking for some new talent ^.^
Thank you for reading and have a good life!
