    It has been far too long since a quality Lord of the Rings title launched. Which is a huge shame, considering the novels basically started the epic fantasy genre, and the Peter Jackson movies were phenomenal. After the great RTS series Battle for Middle-Earth, none of the action follow-ups have lived up to the series' legacy.
