The lights are on
If your into playing strickly multiplayer with big guns and easy objectives, this game is certainly not for you. If not, your place in the Moscow underground is already awaiting you. This game is built largely off the book Metro 2033. With that background, the game is linear (which means that this isn't an open world sandbox game), but it plays just like your favorite book reads. The developers did an amazing job on the surroundings and characters, in that almost every second you play as Atryom, you feel like your ARE Atryom. With the lack of HUD, it makes you feel like you are in tune with the world, and it was set up very well for combat. (for instance, if you combat with the gas mask on, the edges of your screen that were in the shape of the gas mask will 'fade' to give you the 'tunnel vision' effect that your character would have, while granting a little better vision)
