You yourself said that Zaeed, despite being Day1 DLC was a natural part of the ME2 storyline, not tacked on, and I agree. But the distinction between his DLC and this one is that Zaeed was offered COMPLETELY FREE! If this Ashes DLC is anything similar, do you not see the problem with being forced to pay more money for as you said: ‘A natural part of my Mass Effect Experience’? Laying down 60 bucks and then returning home only to receive the friendly notice: “Thank you for purchasing ME3, to get the complete experience, please pay more.” Why wouldn’t someone be justifiably angry at that? I do agree with your policy of character additions; go early or not at all. But have the balls to continue making Day1 Character DLCs free like Zaeed. Making people pay for substantial story content on Day1 leaves a bad taste in people’s mouths. And your silly ‘three week fantasy’ doesn’t make any sense at all. If as you say, the resources were already being used for the DLC before the game was finished, simply devote those resources BACK into the game for three weeks so the DLC will be legitimately done those three weeks later, and we’d have a better game, or even an earlier release! Use your head!

I too have to register some criticism at your article about ME3’s DLC. How dare you advocate the day one DLC of ME3, it was a complete rip-off, and you're a straight brownnose to have the tenacity to insult the gaming community. Honestly, comparing it to a cheeseburger with free fries, what kind of trash metaphor is that? I enjoy the game very much, and it would've been different had it been a small fee for an extra suit of armor or something, but to charge $10 for a 15 minute mission is just absurd. That's beside the fact that while it lacks in play time, it's an essential part of the story, and if you don't throw down that 10 you're left out. The bottom line is, if they had something that was such an essential part to the story, and they were finished with it, they should have released it with the game. A writer should speak as a unified voice for the group of people that's buying what they publish, not insult them if they feel ripped off, and kiss the developer's ass. You should keep that in mind before writing your next garbage article. They were in the wrong, and so are you. I bet the only reason it even went into print was because no one bothered to read your crummy one page article before it went into print. Here I am, a guy who doesnt know rpgs well, and I am interviewing an rpg god, asking him embarrassing questions pretending jrpg is a genre, a term that this man basically wonders why it even exists, talking to him about stereotypes "continue a trend of Japanese RPGs drawing heavily influence from MMORPG design" a trend would require more than 5 series doing this............ you have ff 12, the .hack games, this and dq IX.........that isnt a trend And if he doesnt know about save features in rpgs and decides to generalize them, he should not talk about it if you ever get a chance to speak to him again dont use the term jrpg around him. NO GUIDE... I'm gonna repeat this...NO GUIDE is worse in my experience than Prima's Brutal Legend strategy guide. Not only is there some info that's just plain missing from the guide (such as the locations of a lot of items on their included "complete" collectibles map), the whole thing reads like a novelization of the game. I'm pretty sure the author thought he was hired just to retell the story of the game in guide form. Look it up.
