The lights are on
Guys. Seriously. Normally I am not one to complain about this website in any manner. In fact, I am usually defending the living hell out of it. Just read my posts on just about any of your Halo Hub articles. But seriously. One thing that NEEDS to be fixed: Video streaming. No matter what computer I am using, the video is always lagging. Maybe it's just me, and I have ridiculously bad luck with your videos, but I can play anything on YouTube or other sites with no problem whatsoever. Seriously. I have seen a few other people who have complained about this before. Is there anything that can be done?
Personally, I am excited to hear that the Xbox Live Arcade will soon be featuring a video-game adaptation of the classic board game Risk. For those of you who missed it, read the announcement on GI here.

Ok. First off, I am now afraid of what is going to happen in 2011. Reason 1: Can the world handle that many movies based off of such EPIC comic book characters at one time? I know I am and have been extremely excited for anything Spider-Man related since, well, forever, but comic book-based movies seem to be a HUGE Box Office hit. Just look at the statistics for both Batman films, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and X-Men. Even people who aren't fans of comics loved those movies. So will the economy be stable enough to handle that kind of Box Office pressure?Second, lets think about this for a minute.... Name one movie tie-in video game that didn't suck, or at least did well for sales. None. I'll admit, I loved The Incredible Hulk, which I played for Xbox 360, but it did terrible in sales and the reviews weren't that wonderful either. Iron Man was shot down, Spider-Man flopped, and Batman even sucked for tie-in games. I liked Spider-Man 1-3 as games, but even I know that the games were terrible, I just liked playing them. Web of Shadows even did terrible in reviews, and that wasn't a tie-in. The only exceptions to this are Batman: Arkham Asylum and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, but those were stand-alone games that had nothing to do with movies. Ultimate Alliance 2 peaked into the Marvel Secret Wars and Civil War series, but movie-based games as a whole were just plain bad, and I'm not talking about just comic based ones. So what is going to happen in 2011? If Sega screws up Thor, I might go on a rampage. But if they butcher a Captain America game, then I might just feel obligated to get dressed as the Ultimate Boy Scout myself and start with the justice-serving.
Anyone want to fill me in on how to post your Xbox Live Gamertag to your profile? I've seen it done but I don't know how to get mine to show up.
