I've Been playing vidcons for nearly 15 years, i started when I was about 3.
I'm the type of gamer that looks deeply into design, whether it's mechanical or structural. For some games, fluidity is key to providing both an immersive, fun and great feeling experience. Sometimes you need to have a somewhat fragmented approach to playing, usually with a game that requires a bit of thought.
Just make the game feel right first, then worry about balance, which also happens to be a part of fluidity. Statistic fluidity.
As a byproduct of this borderline autism, I have developed an interest in a career in game design, and I am currently working on two source-engine mods that I will not publicly reveal until I get something other than placeholders from the sdk.
