About Me
I love being the voice of reason in anything ( My parents thought I should be a lawyer) I'm a 19 year old student going to college to major in Biomedical Engineering, a complicated new science involving the creation and research of advance medical technologies. I am a man of logic and science and as such I love a good story and theorizing on information. I enjoy critical thinking and puzzles and I love many great games (as you can generally see from my favorite games list). I also enjoy bodybuilding although I have not had much success yet, I can bench 280 pounds and I weigh 195 pounds. I've been subscribed to GI magazines since I was about 9 years old, so I feel a large amount of my gaming life is thanks to these guys here.
Gaming
I started my gaming Carrer with Sonic The Hedgehog 2 as my first game and it was AWESOME! I also had and enjoyed Street Fighter 2. Then my cousins gave me and my brother the SNES with some great games including Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country, then we were given the N64 with plenty of great games like Star Fox 64, Kirby and the Crystal Shard, Paper Mario, and The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, one of my favorites. Then came the PSone which we only had for a year with Megaman x5 until we got the PS2 a year later, my favorite system! With that I played Final Fantasy 10 an amazing game that got me into JRPG's, Resident Evil 4 my first shooter and horror game, Kingdom hearts the stunning action, platformer, and rpg game that never ceases to amaze me, and Marvel Versus Capcom 2. Then I really opened my horizons with the Xbox 360. Games like Assassins Creed and Mass Effect amaze with great storytelling, Modern warfare, Left 4 Dead, and Halo 3 offered crazy fun multiplayer options, Portal 2 and Braid fried my brain with great puzzles, and Oblivion and Fallout 3 are some of the best open world experiences to date. I love my 360 but I played Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain with my cousins PS3 and now my brother owns a PS3 so I have a few new games opened up to me. Oh yeah on my gameboy advance I generally enjoyed Pokemon, Fire Emblem, and the Final Fantasy remakes (1, 2, 4, 5, and 6) and my DS collection was mostly Castlevania, Final Fantasy and some gimmicky DS games like Lost Magic. So far I've owned almost 300 games (I'm not kidding I've counted). I used to buy games based on looks or names (and we all know how dangerous that can be), but over my high school years Gameinformer has been my favorite source of game reviews to date.
