  • Killing zombies never felt so satisfying.....

Call it an expansion to Left 4 Dead, but L4D2 earned it's right to be it's own game and it backs it up. I like how the intro as it feels like a B-movie trailer you're watching but in a way that catches your eye nonetheless. The music is still at its best and the characters dialog is amusing to the ears. It's about the same with the previous installment, you play as one of the four survivors and you try to get from safehouse to safehouse but this time there's a variety of ways to massacre the infected with a good selection of new firearms and efficient melee weapons incase you don't fancy guns that much.

In the visuals department, it's about on par with L4D with some inprovement upgrades. The biggest change I'd say is the enviroments, much better detail and it gives that chilling atmosphere and makes you feel unsafe when you know you're going to be attacked at any minutes notice. One aspect of the enviroments that caught my eye was the Hard Rain campaign. The rain and fog effects are fantastic though at times it can be difficult to see what's ahead but that makes it even more greater not knowing what's going to come out of that mist.

L4D2 has enough to offer but I do think there's room for improvement. Though it should have more multiplayer modes but there's plenty to keep you busy for hours. Versus mode is more improved and playing as  Jockey was quite fun. All in all, anyone who loves a fast paced-zombie shooter won't be dissapointed.

  • Previous GOW titles get a graphical facelift

How can you forget GOW and 2 and if you did you're living in a hole. I miss playing these games as my ps2 suddenly died a few months back but I'll be getting a  ps3 soon so I'll get to play them again and with HD at that which is a huge improvement, not that it's really needed seeing as they look great on their own as it is.  I recommend these games to anyone who is a fan of GOW and to those who are new to these games  to pick up a copy when it releases. You won't be disappointed.
