  • Have you ever noticed that really great games tend to have a very clear vision and focus? Its like these games said to us, “This is what I am. I’m excelling at it. Accept me for who I am… or don’t.” Now I’m looking at the huge games coming in 2015: Witcher 3, Batman: Arkham Knight, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Final Fantasy XV (hopefully), Metal Gear Solid: Phantom Pain, Uncharted 4, and the list just runs on. I look at these games and I say, “I SEE you. I see what you’re doing and I respect it.” I think “bad” games (opinion varies from person to person) are games that might’ve had a focus but it got lost in the long run. Sometimes I wonder if some developers are even self-aware of the game they are making… However… Family Feud on the PS2 is still the worst game of all time and that game had a pretty clear focus: Be a broken, glitchfest that caused young guys named Morris (me) to get frustrated. Lol seriously, screw that game. on 26 Dec 2014 9:21 AM

  • Gah! A curse on thee, hayfever, bane of my summers! I'd guess allergies are half the reason I play so many games; the outdoors is a distinctly uninviting place to me. If I didn't enjoy running so much, I'd probably have just locked myself in a bubble or a clean room long ago. on 30 May 2014 6:25 PM
  • I should write a blog about the tightest budgets in games. Battlefield 3's sliced grenade-launcher cross-hair would be a perfect example; they were already past their budget, which is why they could only afford half of a cross-hair. on 19 Jan 2014 9:30 PM
