  • MAG isn't for everyone.

When i first tried out MAG in it's Beta stages, I had a hard time getting the handle of the game.  Also, MW2 came out a week or so after the beta came out, so in total i played MAG's Beta for about forty five minutes.  Then January comes around and MAG's release is soon.  So i decide that i will give the game another try because the only other FPS i had on the PS3 was Killzone 2 and i was wanting to get my moneys worth out of this system.  Day One was like all the other games out there: Everyone sucks and doesn't know what to do, so i had fun, easily sniping out my enemies in the Suppression game mode, which only supported 64 people.  Within seven days, there are clans and people of high ranks walking through their opponents like nothing. Me not having a clan meant that i was on the team getting destroyed.  After deleting my SVER character, going to Valor, deleting that one too, and then finally settling at Raven, i have not noticed anything different about any of them, all the guns work the same but look different, so choosing a faction doesnt really matter, i just picked Raven because i like the maps they play on the most.  Unlocking Domination (the 256 player game mode) was a shame because after one game of that i went back to Sabotage, which only supports 64 people (ONLY..haha).  MAG overall is a fun game, but MW2 fanboys beware: this game requires that you forget about your personal KD Ratio/Accuracy/Wins/Score/Rank and start working together with your squad to dominate your enemy.  This game requires as much teamwork as Valve's Left 4 Dead if you want to be top dog.
