A graduate of Pacific Union College, Kyle Lemmon has been an avid gamer ever since he was in diapers. His first system was an NES and he constantly played The Legend of Zelda and Super Mario Bros. As he grew up in the rural town of Loomis, CA, he developed his interest in writing. He was disappointed that his high school didn't have a newspaper so he interned at the Loomis News and the Sacramento Bee during his free time. Upon graduating, he pursued his love of writing at his college's newspaper. He covered video games, music, film, and TV and even toppled a cult-like pyramid scheme that was gripping the faculty at the time. One enrollment counselor was asked to leave because of his paper's investigation.
Kyle continued to play video games throughout this time and upon exiting with his B.S. in Journalism.Public Relations he decided to freelance for publications such as Filter, Under the Radar, Pitchfork, Spin, Slant, Kill Screen, and Prefix Mag. In June of 2009, Kyle married the beautiful elementary school teacher Brooke Osborne and they now have a daughter named Arden Quinn. When he's not writing about or playing video games, he's most likely listening to indie rock, watching The Twilight Zone, drinking cranberry juice, or slowly working on his It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia book. He also loves to use the Aliens-inspired idiom "stay frosty."
