I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. From the age of 3 or 4, there has always been some form of interactive entertainment in my life beginning with the NES. Ever since then, my passion, admiration, and absolute love of video games has only grown more intense with each passing year of my life. When I look back and remember all that I have witnessed during this industry's growth and the potential hand I would like to have in its future, it simply blows my mind. My view and analyzing of video games has matured along with this growth. As a child and teenager, they were simple fun and challenge to pass the time but now I understand that gaming is a very expressive and artistic medium in the same vein as literature and film. The stories and characters in today's games can bear deeper meaning than just a princess being in another castle.
