  • E3 Infarcer 2018

    1

E3 2018 is nearly upon us ladies and gentlemen! It's the time of year where we typically see a slow down of games through summer, but the show is supposed to keep us hyped for what's to come by the end of the year and beyond. It's also the time of year where I attempt to be comical with my expectations of the show and what you can more than likely...maybe...probably...definitely-maybe-possibly see without a doubt.

  • Closure

    10

It's been quite awhile since I've written about this topic (roughly two years actually), but this week finally brought some closure to a chapter of my life that has been really difficult for me. I also feel the need to apologize for missing my Cover Art Guessing Game post on the 15th this month, but I have had a lot going on. Between school, my full time job and my part time job the time to write as much as I would like has dwindled down to almost nothing and I hope this changes sooner than later.

  • GMC: Using colors to overcome our inner selves.

    1

I may have missed the deadline, but I'm going with a better late than never approach on this one because the Game Making Challenge posted by StartPack and Haley Shipley sounded really fun. Saturation. When it comes to video game saturation my mind always goes in one direction. Color.

  • Axiom Verge: Metroidvania At Its Finest

    2

Even though it's at the end of its life I am still finding reasons to turn on my Vita. The most recent reason? Axiom Verge. AV is a game that had been on my radar since it came out and late last year it was actually released physically in the Multiverse Edition. I didn't get around to playing it until February, but I am extremely glad I finally did.

  • Table Top Gaming: Dark Souls the Card Game

I realize I do entirely too many Dark Souls posts, but this one is certainly different from the rest. Those of us who backed the Dark Souls Board Game created by Steamforged Games were given the chance to back the Dark Souls Card Game and receive it ahead of its full launch. I received the card game a few weeks ago and have gotten the chance to play a couple of times so I figured I would pass on how things went.

  • Shadow of the Colossus: Wow!

    3

It may have taken me more than a decade to play one of my favorite games of all time, but I finally did, and it was glorious. Shadow of the Colossus came out for PS4 this past week and I had every intention of picking up the game for the second time and really giving it a go. I had originally purchased the HD remaster on PS3 and I even played the first few colossi when I did, but for some reason I never ended up finishing. I genuinely don't remember what happened when I got that version, but for whatever reason I just never made it very far. That being said, I want to jump right into some thoughts about the game and exactly what made it special enough for me to put it in my top ten games all-time!
