Thanks to the older brother, I have been into video games for as long as I have been able to hold a controller. I can't remember the time before video games entered my life, and quite honestly I find that as bragging rights. I love video games, they have been my number one hobby all of my life, and I am not ashamed to say so. As most people my age, I started out on the NES where I played Zelda, Super Mario Bros., and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. My first game on the PC was King's Quest V, which to this day is one of the more ridiculous games I have ever played. As the years past, Nintendo released the SNES which was attained by me and my brother immediately upon release. Naturally my love for the Super Mario Bros. continued as I played through Super Mario and the Legend of the Seven Stars, and Super Mario World 1, 2, and 3. It was when Nintendo released the Nintendo 64 that my love for video games really took flight. Super Mario 64 and Zelda the Ocarina of Time were the pinnacle of my video game playing career. Along with those two games came Super Smash Bros. where I did (and continue to to this very day) dominate day in and day out. When Microsoft released Xbox, my brother and I decided to retire our Nintendos in order to buy Microsoft's product seeing as Nintendo's Game Cube wasn't looking too promising. Games like Halo, Kung Fu Chaos, Oddworld, and Baldur's Gate where the highlights of my Xbox playing.
Today I currently play the Xbox 360, and many games on my PC (though most of it is spent on World of Warcraft) although it is in bad need of upgrading. I can't wait for Halo: Reach, Star Wars: The Old Republic, and Starcraft II. I am looking to make video games my career. I am currently going to college to hopefully major in Computer Game Design where I will be able to create my hobby as well as play it.
