I have been a gamer since the age of 3. I beginning of my "gaming career" consisted of Super Mario Bros., Duck Hunt, and Punch Out. My first consoles I owned were the NES and SNES. Since then I have tried to own as many of the consoles as I possibly could. Of the current generation of consoles I own all three, plus a gaming PC. My PC specs are:
Nividia GeForce GTX 660 Ti Overclock Power Edition
Intel i5 3570k 3.4GHz CPU overclocked to 3.8GHz
8GBs of RAM
1 TB Hard Drive
and a 1080p Monitor
My favorite genres of video games are Shooters, RPGs (not JRPGs), Action Adventure, and Platformers.
I was born with a disorder called Tourette Syndrome. Many people may have heard of this disorder, but have a misconception of what the effects are. Many people believe Tourettes is where you yell out curse words. Although that is a possible effect, it is extremely rare. Only 1% of people with Tourettes have that effect, or tic, which is what the symptomes of Tourettes is actually called. Tics are uncontrollable movements or sounds like swinging the head side to side or having to move your hand across a surface of an object a certain way or it does not feel right or even clearing your throat. Those are only a couple of examples of tics that I have. I began seeing the tics around the age of 6, which is where they usually begin for people with Tourettes. I was not officially diagnosed with Tourettes until the age of 10, when doctors could not find any other reasoning for the movements.
